Visitor Sites

A list of 42 authorised visitor landing sites are included as an annex in the Visiting South Georgia guidebook. These sites are authorised by the Principal Immigration Officer. Additional sites, where landing is not authorised, may be suitable for marine activites and are included in the map. A number of Visitor Site Management Plans (SVMPs) have been prepared for the most popular landing sites and also landings that involve overland walks. All SVMP must be followed and complied with at all times.
